Terms of use

The rules for using the free tools, including the AI tools, guides, courses, exercises and the chill room on memorito.app.

1. Who provides the site

The website memorito.app is provided by MartinSoft, Stanisława Taczaka 24/103 61-819 Poznań. Contact: support@memorito.app.

2. What the site offers

Free of charge and without an account: tools that work in your browser (such as the grade calculators and the study timer), explainers of hard topics, guides, courses, exercises with solutions, and the chill room - a full-screen study room with sounds. Free of charge, with an account: the AI tools - the flashcard and quiz generator, the summary generator, the recall check and the “Run with Rito” game (section 5).

The agreement for using the site is made when you open it and ends when you leave it. The agreement for your account runs from when you create it until you delete it.

3. What you need

An up-to-date web browser with JavaScript turned on, and for the AI tools also an email address or a Google account. Tools and settings keep their data only in your browser, except for the AI tools, which save the sets and summaries you create to your account (see the privacy policy).

4. Using the content

The texts, exercises, illustrations and code on the site are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own learning and share links to them. Copying them in bulk or publishing them elsewhere needs our permission. The chill room’s sound recordings are in the public domain (CC0); their sources are listed in the sound credits.

Please use the site in a way that does not disrupt it for others - for example, no automated mass downloading.

5. Your account and the AI tools

  1. The account is free. You create it by signing in with a code sent by email or with Google. You can delete it at any time with the “Delete account” button in the “Account” menu at the top of the page - together with all your sets and summaries.
  2. You can create an account if you are at least 16 years old; if you are younger, only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  3. The AI tools share one daily limit on AI generations: a flashcard set, a summary and a text to check (with its checks) count as one each. Each tool shows how many you have left. We may change this limit or pause the AI tools for a while, for example when the daily allowance for the whole site has been used up.
  4. Only paste texts that you are allowed to use for your own learning. Don’t paste personal data or confidential information.
  5. The flashcards, questions and summaries are written by an artificial intelligence model, based only on your text. We check automatically that they are based on that text, but they may still contain mistakes, and a summary may leave out important details - check them before you study from them. The marking of what you remember is also done by an AI model and may be wrong too. We don’t publish the sets or summaries created from your text or show them to anyone else, unless you share a set or a summary by link (point 8).
  6. You may not use the AI tools automatically (for example with scripts), get around the limits or create several accounts to do so. If someone breaks these rules, we may block or delete their account; where possible, we will email the account’s address first.
  7. The AI tools are new features: we may change them or switch them off. We will announce it on the tool’s page at least 14 days in advance if we switch one off.
  8. You can share a set or a summary by link. Anyone who has the link can view it without an account (a set also as the game “Run with Rito”) and save a copy to their own account; they don’t see your email address. Only share content you have the right to share - for example, don’t send long passages from textbooks around this way. You can stop sharing at any time; copies other people saved before stay in their accounts. We may disable the link to a set or summary that breaks the law or these terms. You can report it with the “Report this set” or “Report this summary” button or by writing to support@memorito.app.

6. No guarantees

We prepare the content carefully, but it is educational material, not professional advice. The calculators use typical rules - such as grade thresholds - that your school, university or teacher may set differently, so always check the rules that apply to you. Flashcards, questions, summaries and marks from the AI tools may contain mistakes (section 5, point 5). We do not guarantee exam results and, to the extent permitted by law, are not liable for decisions based solely on the site.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, add or remove content and features, and take the site offline for maintenance.

8. Complaints

If something does not work as described, write to support@memorito.app describing the problem. We reply within 14 days.

9. Changes to these terms and applicable law

We may change these terms; the date below shows the current version. If a change affects accounts, we will email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect; if you don’t agree with the change, you can delete your account. Polish law applies. This does not take away the protection you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
